My summers between college semesters were spent at the Brevard Music Center, where I painted operas. My first summer, I was employed as a Scenic Painter but was promoted to Lead Artist in my second summer. We produced three main-stage operas each season, along with a few community projects and scenery for other Music Center concerts and events.
